这些非球面柱面透镜是非球面透镜柱面形式的版本；既有非球面表面像差小的优势，又有标准柱面透镜的一维聚焦性能。本页出售的这些透镜都采用电脑数控(CNC)研磨和抛光工艺制成。
正柱面透镜非常适合需要一维放大的应用。虽然球面透镜同时在二维方向上对入射光起作用，但柱面透镜只在一维方向起相同的作用。典型的应用是使用一对柱面透镜对光束进行畸变整形。一对正柱面透镜可以准直激光二极管的出射光束，并将其光斑变圆。另一种可能应用是使用单个柱面透镜将一束发散的光聚焦到探测器阵列上。
这些柱面透镜与真正的圆柱面稍有区别，可以最大程度地减少引入的像差，从而使波前误差为500 nm(RMS)。这些透镜采用S-LAH64玻璃制成，这种玻璃色散低，折射率高，可以最大程度地减少色差。
